About Dr. Clorinda Bulfamante

Dr. Bulfamante provides services both in office and via a confidential, HIPAA secure platform that is easily accessible.  She holds licensure in the states of Connecticut and New York, and is an authorized PSYPACT provider allowing her to provide telehealth services in 42 states.

Dr. Bulfamante is a clinical psychologist and certified school psychologist who possesses a wealth of experience in engaging children, adolescents, and adults in individual psychotherapy. She specializes in treating anxiety, school/work issues, and has a passion for supporting clients through all of life’s transitions, including transitions to college or the workforce, changes in relationship status or family structure with an empathic ear. Dr. Bulfamante also supports adults and children in coping with personal or familial medical conditions.

Dr. Bulfamante’s utmost goal is to develop a strong therapeutic relationship by maintaining a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and validated. Clients have shared that Dr. Bulfamante is highly relatable, and have helped individuals to learn more about themselves, feel confident in coping with life’s stressors, and develop healthier relationships. She is flexible and eclectic in her approach to helping clients achieve their goals, and often finds herself utilizing cognitive behavioral and dialectical behavioral models.

In addition to therapeutic services, Dr. Bulfamante is able to provide diagnostic clarification through comprehensive psychological evaluations. An evaluation is tailored to identify an individual’s unique strengths and weaknesses while assessing an individual’s cognitive, academic, and social-emotional functioning. Recommendations are designed to help individuals reach their personal goals.

Assessments are conducted in collaboration  with families and schools to allow for a thorough assessment.  The evaluation is tailored to each individual’s presenting concerns.

In her free time, Dr. Bulfamante enjoys spending time with her family, being in the outdoors, using the Peloton, and has a secret affinity for puzzles!
